This Baby Grand piano was painted and donated to the 2017 Global Down Syndrome Foundation Gala as a live auction item. It was also signed by actor, Jamie Foxx.
What’s Your Trigger?
Trigger words. Yes, everyone has them. Those certain words that people say that get on your nerves like, “get on the same page”, “give a shout” and my favorite as a graphic designer, “make it pop”. This Bass Cello was a fun, commissioned piece dedicated to trigger words. It’s made-up of acrylic paint, pencil, ink, oil stick and 3D printed gears (the gears that grind your nerves). Finally, copper wiring was weaved in and out of the gears as well as the strings of the Bass.

This two-sided 48” X 48” puzzle piece shape canvas tested my power tool skills! Two puzzle shapes were cut out of 1/4” plywood, layered back to back with foam insulation in between, and finished with a metal edging.
